About Us
Jennie Navedo
Our head trainer was born on a welsh pony breeding farm and is a second generation horsewoman. She began her riding career at the young age of 3 years old. Jennie has been showing horses and ponies for 30 years under the guidance of professional training programs. She has years of experience raising, breaking, training and showing young horses and ponies. Upon completion of her BA degree in finance from Bryant University, she established Bayside Hill Stables in 2011. Since turning professional, Jennie has trained with Nations Cup Riders, International Hunter Derby riders, FEI Dressage riders as well as USEF licensed judges. She has 10+ years of experience teaching a wide range of age groups. Under her tutelage, she has helped students and horses achieve championships on circuit, zone and national levels. Jennie is currently enrolled in the New England Learner Judge Program. Upon completion she will receive her license to judge horse shows across the New England area in 2025!
Matthew Navedo
Matthew graduated from Bryant University with a degree in international business and finance and has attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. When he is not hard at work at his main occupation, Matthew is assisting Jennie with the day to day logistics of the farm. He serves as our Chief of Operations here at Bayside. Matthew often travels with our show team to ensure a safe and smooth competition behind the scenes. A true believer in the adage that no task is too small, he possesses a vast understanding of the operations and assists with making sure the facility is running smoothly.
Michael & Lisa St.Ours
Mike and Lisa are instrumental to the success of our team. While they own the property of which we operate, their passion for horses does not stop there.
Mike serves as the Head of Facilities ensuring that the farm is run to its highest efficiency. His attention for detail has allowed us to offer state-of-the-art amenities.
Lisa provides her support on the farm as well as on the road. With her degree in early childhood education, Lisa helps to support our child riders before and after lessons. Lisa is our biggest cheerleader! You will often see her traveling with our show team to support us.
